How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign uses a series of removable, clear plastic aligners custom-made to fit your teeth. Worn over the top of your teeth, each set of aligners applies gentle, consistent pressure to gradually move them into their new position.
- Each set of aligners should be worn for 2 weeks, only removing them to eat, drink or clean.
- Each new aligner continues the movement until your teeth reach their final position.
- You will visit Dr Jillian every 4–8 weeks to ensure your treatment is progressing as planned.
- Most cases complete within 3–18 months depending on complexity.
